Great to see pictures from my part of the world. Jose, you really do get around. Was this business or pleasure?
The main subject balances the hill (or koppie as it is called in Southern Africa). Well done on adding to the canvas on the left. |

The long red train has made this portrait spectacular! As usual your lighting is perfect.
The vignette seems a little heavy to my taste. |

What a delightful nature story, so different from what we normally see from you.
The bird is colorful and sharp as are the flowers that it sits on. I don't think that you need the base of the flowers, so I would crop this as a horizontal, adding more emphasis to the bird. |

The shapes of the building are incredible and you have captured it to its best advantage. Tones are great and the added smoke gives a sense of mystery to the composition.
As Jose says, the people don't bother at all and in fact add scale. |

Kookaburras may not be special to you, but they certainly are for us! The pose is great and the background is perfect. So what that it is sitting on a post! |

The cardinal in flight is beautifully captured and the flowers compliment the colors of the cardinal.
I don't think you need as much on the right side and I would crop about a third, maybe to the edge of the tree stump. |

Your main subject is very sharp and stands out well from the background. I like the saturated colors in this case. |

Another beautiful image and well processed. I commend you for getting rid of the other white birds on the left side of the wing. |

This is the month for Loons! I love the interaction between Mom and chick. This portrays a wonderful nature story.
It helps to be in the water and at eye level. Well done. |

Yes. I agree that this is not as sharp as we have come to expect from you. Even though you were using a tripod, the bird was obviously moving.
I would also prefer not to have your subject so centered. Did you consider a black and white version? |
