The bird stands out perfectly from the background, and is tack sharp.
I agree with previous comments about the crop. I might even go as far as cropping to a horizontal format by eliminating some off the top and a lot off the tree. |

Yes I also prefer original 2. This shows more of the environment making it a PJ image rather than a straight portrait.
The image lacks sharpness overall, and can be improved in Topaz, which I use often. |

Why do they need those damn tattoos!!
Beautiful portrait. How unusual not to see the eyes as we are so used to, but the angle of the head, the hair and the hands make this image co compelling. |

The curved road with its lines and edges carry my eye through the composition. I tend to get frustrated when the subject is moving away from me (rear view) but I think it works to your advantage.
Did you find the spot and then wait for your subject to appear? |

You have done an excellent job on this tulip. The focus stacking has provided a perfectly sharp image throughout.
Your composition is also great with the petals providing the backdrop for the stamens.
For focus stacking I presume you use a tripod. Do you need a device to change the focus for each frame? |

Your wide angle presentation here is perfect to show us the colours and shapes in the rocks of this cave. How much is natural light and how much artificial light?
The people are so small that it took me a while to find them. I would probably eliminate the person on the right (in black) but the other person give us a sense of scale. |

Brenda, I see you are enjoying your mirrorless camera. I just recently bought a long lens for my Sony and finding my pictures so much better than my old Canon with Tamron lens.
This is well captured as your depth of field has enabled you to capture both adult and chick in sharp focus. And you have processed well to bring out the detail in the adult. The blur on the wing tips is acceptable seeing that it is moving towards you. |

The flowers are well processed from the original. But the background is definitely a distraction. My suggestion is to try to compose the picture better in your camera, by moving up or down to try to eliminate the distractions making less work for yourself in post processing.
When composing a picture, always pay attention to the edges of the frame. |

Oops! Bad luck for the egret! They have such patience to stand in one spot for ages until they catch their prey, so I'm sure it was successful later.
I agree with other comments about lightening the background slightly. The water drops coming off his feet are a nice addition to the picture. |

Pierre, well done on showing us this delightful little bird in its natural environment. The color combination of yellow and white works in your favor. And the background bokeh is perfectly complementary. |

Dean, this is your best bird shot so far. Well captured, well positioned in the frame with the plants providing a natural framing.
I agree with other comments about brightening up the whole image. |
