This is my kind of image that I enjoy photographing. I love the mood, the reflection in the puddle, and the mountains in the background. I would not change a thing as I like the composition as it is! Even the bright snow compliments the scene. |

The flower is really beautiful. I agree that removing the second bud is an improvement as it is a distraction as it is. Darkening the foreground helps to enhance the stamens. I would also crop a little off the top. |

Belinda, your montage is very effective here and has created a dreamy look to your flower and butterfly. The color palette is quite pleasing, and the parallel lines of the folds in the curtain give the appearance of streaks of sunlight.
My only suggestion is to add a vignette to darken the corners, especially the bottom right. |

This is a very compelling image. The curved stairs are a perfect lead in right up to your subject placed in the upper third. Well done with your b&w conversion. You have enhanced the tones beautifully. |

You have brought out great detail in this image from the original. Your sky replacement looks natural and was a good choice.
I do find the buildings to over saturated - probably due to the HDR treatment. Overall a very successful image. |

You have captured the great egret in flight very well. The bird is sharp and you have handled the background nicely. I agree with Candy that it would be better if you can reduce the highlights to enhance the feather texture.

Spoonbills are one of my favorite birds, and you have captured the colors beautifully. Nature division does allow you to flip the image so I don't see any problem there.
I would crop a little more off the left side to eliminate that branch in the bottom left corner, and some off the top. |

Jacob, this is your best picture so far. The morning light together with your strong edits have made this flower stand out from the background.
Well done! |

The unusual pose makes this image a winner. You have cleaned up the background so that there are no distractions. |

Pierre, its great to see such a colorful bird, one that I have never seen before.
To get light in the eye, I use the Radial filter in Camera Raw which seems to work best for me. I would also clone out the green branch parallel to the beak. The other reeds are fine as it shows us its habitat. |

Dean, this is an excellent composition.
I love how the road winds through the scene carrying my eye from front to back. I do agree that a little more contrast in the misty area would help. But of course you don't want to lose the mist effect. |

Brenda, thanks for your comments. I have included the original, taken at Wakodahatchee wetlands (where we took you on your last visit to this area.)
I cropped to a vertical, darkened the background using "multiply" in the history brush( about 35%), added brightness to the eyes using the radial filter in camera raw. Sharpened in Topaz Sharpen AI. I decided not to remove the branch in front of the left bird in case I enter into the nature division. |
