I took out the white lines of the boat on the horizon and eliminated the bright spots in the foreground. Thank you for your feedback. |

Composition is great with the 2 smaller ice balls balancing the main ice. The sky is gorgeous and I do compliment you on getting up and photographing before sunrise.
I presume you were very close to the main subject and so wonder how big it actually is. |

I happen to like this image very much. The colors are great and well balanced by the blue "sky". The diagonal presentation is also appealing, and I like the way you have cut off the flowers at each end to act as "bookmarks".
So many of your previous architectural shots are so graphic, and I think this one also tends to be graphic.
I would love to see the original. |

Belinda, I love what you have done with this image. You have created a piece of art from a very ordinary looking statue. It was so smart of you to leave the head and hair perfectly sharp while creating an image that appears to be on the bow of a ship. Well done! |

The chicks are beautiful and sharp, and I like the connection between them.
I agree with all the comments about the blue reflections. If you need to keep them in for the nature division, I would darken them with the history brush or dodge and burn tool. |

Bob, you have processed this image very well to bring out the colors so vibrantly. But overall I find it too busy and my eye does not find a spot to rest. Perhaps just using a smaller portion of the image would be better. |

Geoff, I love seeing pictures and learning about the Australian landscape, which is so different to most other places in the world. Thank you for your detailed explanation.
The river or road running through the landscape helps to draw the eye into the scene. Please keep sharing these images with us. |

Brenda, this is one of your best flight shots so far. I like your crop which gives the bird space to land.
You can use 'Multiply" in the history brush tool at about 25% to darken the back of the neck. I would also use the radial filter in camera raw to add some light into the eye. These tips would still allow you to enter in a nature competition. |

The image is definitely too bright and too busy. I you follow the tips suggested above you will create a much better final result. |

Candy, once again you have captured a beautiful specimen. The red eye and yellow body are superb.
I find the background to be quite distracting, and as you are so good at changing backgrounds, I wonder why you chose to leave this background in place. Perhaps a texture would improve the background. |

Pierre, The chick is so sharp and so cute that nothing else really matters. Yes, you can remove the 3 distracting pieces of grass.
I like the inclusion of the mother - you have just enough to identify it. The brightness of the mom's leg does not bother me.
This is a real winner in my book! |

What a lovely peaceful scene shot at the right time of day. The sky and clouds are wonderful.
I would crop some of the grass on the lower part of the image as this is less interesting, maybe just above the green section. |

Thanks for all the positive comments. I was a little disturbed by the messy background, but that's where it was. As for the meal/chick, it is totally black and I lightened as much as possible without creating too much noise. |
