I have just returned from the Smoky Mountains where I took lots of this kind of picture. This one is particularly good, as you have detail in the front trees and yet the background is not over bright due to your good use of HDR. The color palette presented is extremely pleasing. |

Your composition is spot on with a clean background, pleasing color palette, and no distractions. The butterfly is sharp enough and you have done well to get the feelers all in the same plane. |

The X of the tracks make this picture really appealing. You have done well with your post process and the new sky really helps to add interest to the bald sky. |

Taken from my car window. I guess there must have been a slight rise in the landscape to give me this angle. |

Beautiful light on this bird, and its great to see the environment where it lives.
I agree with Dean about the reflection in the water. Did you consider a vertical crop, to include the reflection and eliminate some of the reeds on the left? |

The milky Way has been very well captured. I agree with Dean about the un-natural orange layer at the horizon line. The foreground composite adds interest, but I feel it should be a little darker so as not to compete with the sky.
Keep up the good work, and welcome back to Florida. |

The colors of the flower are nice, but my eye is pulled to the bright area in the top left corner. I would darken this considerably, or crop it off. You also need to add some brightness to the white petals on the bottom of the flower. |

Candy, once again you have proven that you can make an amazing image from a mundane subject provided that the light is favorable. The composition is simple, uncluttered, with the perfect background. |

The bird is well shown but my eye is drawn to the bright area on the upper left. I would tone down or better still, crop it off and go for a square format.
I have not seen one of these birds before. What is their usual habitat? |

Beautiful composition and gorgeous colors. You do have the horizon slightly off center but I think it would be more dramatic if you cut off a little from the bottom.
The clouds and reflection in the water on the left side provide the impact to this scene. |

Brenda, these are not Masai giraffe as they were photographed in South Africa. I did not change very much besides cropping. I did remove some bushes showing through on the back of the left giraffe.
