Taken at the magical time of the day, this scene is calm and peaceful. Composition is enhanced by the S curve leading through the foreground.
I think you can eliminate the problems in the upper part of the sky by cropping off about 1/3 of the top of the sky. This would also effectively move the horizon line away from the center of the composition. |

A beautiful landscape that shows great depth to all those ridges in the background. I agree with Bob to use the de-haze slider to get some more detail into the background. Of course the fog in the valley is superb. |

At first inspection the image seems tilted to the right. But then I realized that it is the pole that is crooked and there is not much you can do about that. You have done well with your post processing to bring out the color and texture in the red bricks. I find the b&w version flat and not as interesting. |

Good use of the flags to draw us into the composition and fill in the less interesting foreground. You have some green lens flare which should be removed, as the others have suggested. |

Welcome to the Nature division, Bob! While not perfectly sharp, you have improved the sharpness sufficiently to make this a compelling picture, showing the nature story aspect of this cheetah. My only suggestion is to lighten the eyes even more, using the radial tool in camera raw. |

Feather texture, color and lighting on this Finch is superb and yet my eye goes directly to the clear eye of the bird. Background is clean and unobtrusive. I like the idea of adding a vignette as Dean suggests, but I find his vignette a bit too strong. |

The color palette presented here is very pleasing, Brenda. However, I would like to see more separation between the petals at the top of the bloom and the background.
Sunflowers are generally cultivated, so I don't think they would qualify in the nature division.

Jacob, your work improves each month. Well done.
I don't mind having just 2 blooms in the composition which works well in this vertical format.
There is still some white "fluff" in the background particularly near the top flower which you could remove with the healing brush or clone tool. |

Another perfect image from you, Candy. The bird is perfectly sharp and the background clean and non competitive. |

Pierre, the Flicker is beautifully portrayed, with great feather detail and highlight in the eye. I find the grass over bright and therefore competing with your main subject. I would suggest de-saturating the greens considerably, and darkening slightly. |

What beautiful colors, Dean. Makes it all the more worthwhile getting up so early. Your composition is also spot on. I would clone out the other photographer as I don't think he adds anything to the composition. He is too small to add scale and to me is more of a distraction.
