Good job for not putting away your camera on this rainy day. The cobblestones have more interest when wet and pick up reflections of the lights coming from the buildings. The slight crop on the bottom does improve the composition. |

Interesting repetition of colors in these baskets which matches the color in the sky. Well seen and perfectly composed. I am enjoying the simplicity of the scene. |

I love photographing lighthouses. You have composed this one perfectly by placing it in the top right and including the beautiful lead in lines. The darkened sky is an improvement to the mood of the picture, but I do prefer the white lighthouse in the original rather than the grey tones shown in the final.
The table doesn't bother me at all. |

I have just returned from South Africa where we saw many zebra. But you have managed to portray them in a different way than usual. The open mouth adds so much interest, however, I see a dental cavity on the lower right tooth!. (sorry for the dental joke) |

I have played around with the perspective as you suggested. I think it is better, but cannot correct the perspective of the houses on the left as well. I added a small stroke to help delineate from the dark background |

Thanks for your comments, Jose. Yes, I did try to reduce the brightness of that light on the left by painting with grey. Probably overdid it. |
