This is a great landscape and you have positioned the shepherd in a good position. I agree that it is better having him look into the picture rather than at us. The sheep are difficult to see and tend to blend in so I guess they are really secondary to the whole picture. I would try to remove some of them, especially the one near his hand. |

Good that you were there before the outbreak of the Coronavirus! I think you have captured the mood and feeling of the day. Most of us would put away our camera in this weather, so congratulations on your perseverance. |

You have captured a wonderful moment in your Moms life that I'm sure you will cherish for many years. At age 91 it shows her sharp and focused. I think the vignette helps focus my attention on her action. My only suggestion is to reduce the highlight and brightness on the back of her head. |

The smoke adds mood to the composition and my eye is immediately drawn to the action of carving the meat. The spectators help the composition by focusing their attention on the action. My only complaint is the bright sign behind the head of the male spectator/customer. |

Nice and colorful with interesting patterns. However, my eye is trying to find somewhere to settle. |

This certainly is different and lucky you to be able to photograph from the sky! I like the pattern made by the river and the colors in the sand. I personally would darken the background or add more contrast. |

Brenda, I'm sorry to say that I am not in favor of this pose. The beak is lost against the rock, which is very bright. My eye is drawn to the beautiful tail feathers, but your treatment of the background has left the feather tips not as sharp as in the original.
You will see many Anhingas in your travels in Florida and will get many better shots. In the breeding season, their bright eyes are a feature. |

I agree with Pierre's comments. I also find the 2 out of focus branches on the right and lower right to be distracting as is the sliver of blue sky. It would be easy to crop these out of the frame. |

Another simple but beautiful image, Candy. As usual, your post process technique is perfect, by providing an uncluttered black background. |

I love the monochrome effect, the action in the wings, and your narrow presentation, allowing plenty of space for the birds to take off. My only complaint is that the wings of the front bird is blown out. Did you try toning down with the history brush? |

Dean, I prefer the color version. I feel that the ripples in the sand are much more prominent. I find the back portion of the b&w version to be confusing, and I would prefer the shadows to be much deeper in this version. |
