I agree with Belinda that it is not as sharp as it could be. I know this is often difficult when we are in a hurry to get the shot before everything moves and changes. I also find it a little too busy. |

I love the image as you have presented, but I feel it is lost by fading into the black. I added a 1 pixel stroke (in photoshop) which makes it more contained. What do you think? |

This is surely an interesting abstract. No indication that it is actually water so it could be anything. The colors, patterns and shapes are the elements that make this a good picture. |

Interesting pattern shot. And it works well in b&w by eliminating the bright areas in the background. I love the texture on the concrete supports. |

I have a similar picture taken from the Rialto Bridge at sunset. Your angle from water level is a lot better. I really like the fact that you managed to place the Gondoliers head against the sky without any distractions. You have done well to bring out the colors in the sky and the buildings. The noise does not bother me at all. |

I think the montage works well. It is not a typical night sky picture, but once again you are showing us a slice of the Aussie Outback that we don't usually see. The composition is great and the foreground has sufficient detail. Is Ayres rock usually this color at sunrise or sunset? |

Wonderful, creative image, Brenda. I like the filters that you chose, as my eye is immediately drawn to the yellow center of the flower. |

The owl is wonderfully lit and sharp. I agree that the background should be darkened even more. A crop from the top to just below the fork in the background tree would also help by reducing the amount of background. |

The feather texture is well shown with the back lighting. We see so many ducks or birds in a straight row that it is refreshing to see a different composition. Here the duck on the left provides a balance to the two facing right. |

The bird is beautiful and I like the improvements made by Candy. I would also try to clone out some of the background twigs. |

I love the colors in the sky and the light catching the grasses in the mid ground. I think you have enough detail in the foreground - I would not open up the shadows any more. This is one of the best landscapes that I have seen from you. Well done. |

Thanks, Candy. I was really attracted to the colors in the water. which is why I chose not to crop as tight as you have.
On my monitor the water in the foreground sparkles. |

Thanks Dean. I especially darkened the bird to make it a silhouette. |
