Flipping this image is a good choice. The foreground rocks are no longer an obstacle to my eye. |

Very interesting building - great colors and shapes. Perhaps a ground view looking up would have eliminated some of the bright buildings in the background. |

As this picture came up my initial reaction was that it was taken in the middle of the day. Ideally, one needs an overcast sky to get good colors in these pictures. But hey! That's when you were there and you made the best of it. |

Nice balance of the red roofs with the reddish color of the Sedona Hills. I also like the design of the image with the curved path of the roofs leading my eye through the frame. Get rid of those 2 cars - they are a distraction and you don't need them. |

Interesting juxtaposition of these buildings and great texture. Darkening (burning) the foreground would add more interest to that cracked mud. |

The b&w conversion has helped to amplify the strength of the geyser. And it has brought out more detail in the trees. I would eliminate the rocks in the foreground as they draw my attention away from the geyser. |

Thank you for sharing more of the Australian Outback. I think the colors are stunning as are the patterns and shapes in the sand. |

Brenda, you have captured a typical Florida scene and shown it very well. It is peaceful and the color palette is typical for the swamps. I don't need to see the full height of the tree as that thick trunk provides sufficient information. This is how you would see the scene at eye level from a kayak. |

The birds are nice and sharp but I find the merger confusing. I would also darken the background just a little. I'm sure you must have other shots of this pair with more separation? |

Candy, you have focused our attention on the important part of this bird - the eye, the beak and the feather texture. The "S" shape of the neck in this pose is an added bonus. I would darken the highlights in the lower left of the frame even more to eliminate any distractions. |

What an interesting tree. I agree with the others that adding contrast would provide more punch.
Well seen and thanks for sharing its history. |

On my monitor this image is perfectly sharp. I also made a print 11 X 14 which has no problems with sharpness.
You are all right about the camera angle - the spoonbill was below me right near the boardwalk. |
