Thanks Albert. You are the only one who agrees with me that the eye can fill in the left side! |

Well seen, Dave. I agree that the vignette is too heavy. The lighting is lovely especially the fall off on the pots on the left. I had a similar type of picture last month taken in a museum that didn't allow photography. But often their set ups are so interesting |

The red buildings provide a rich base to the scene and contrasts nicely with all the blue tones in the water and background. You have shown great depth and the picture is sharp from front to back. My only complaint is the brightness of the white boats on the left side. |

Thanks, Bob. I am not sure what you mean about clipping the top head. |

The cacti on the right are great. But I think the bald sky has let you down. You could clone a sky with clouds from a different image, or darken the sky considerably more. A vertical crop will also help to get rid of many of the distractions. |

Everything works for you here - the hair, red shirt, his expression and background. Well seen. |

The colors make this a successful image. The out of focus base helps to keep my attention to the top of this structure and your composition is spot on. Well seen. |

My first glance was that this is the interior of a lighthouse, which I have tried to photograph many times. You have done well to capture this as you did. They often wont allow us to get to the ideal spot to take our picture. The b&w conversion is a good choice as it enhances the beautiful wrought iron work in the handrail. |

Yes. I feel the nose is not so squished any more! |

I agree with your crop suggestion. I was trying to preserve the rings in the water, but agree the picture works just as well without them. |

The colors provide great mood. I think the vast expanse of water helps to create the mood. The tree on the island provides a stop for my eye. I don't agree with Rob that it blocks me traveling to the gap beyond. I would flip the image horizontally, so that the eye travels from the dark water on the left to the bright water and tree on the right. |

Great color and sharpness especially the eye. I find the dark area right against his nose makes me feel uncomfortable. Perhaps this can be softened. |

This is not true, Dean. Most of our birds are indigenous as are alligators and many snake species. These Iguanas as well as pythons were brought to Florida as pats and then released into the wild where they have become overgrown pests! |

I agree with Robs comments. I cropped to a square format which eliminates the horizontal branch at the bottom and some of the out of focus tree above. I don't mind the tree but the lower branch is a distraction. |

Your composition is great with the hills on each side forming a frame to draw my attention to the beautiful colors of the fire weed. The dramatic sky certainly helps to make this image a winner. |

An interesting pattern shot, and so sharp I can almost count each grain of sand! Unusual not to have a point of interest for my eyes to settle on, but in this case my eye follows the lines in the sand up and down from left to right. |
