I love waterfalls and have photographed many myself. You have done a great job here with your camera position and slowing down the water. The rocks on the left need to be darkened even more and I would also darken the sky somewhat. |

This is a very appealing image - a travel picture with a difference. Great lead in with the hand rail leading my eye all the way up those stairs. I didn't notice the bright area on the upper left until the others mentioned it so it didn't bother me as much. The apparent "crookedness" of the passage adds a sense of mystery to the image. |

While I do like the color of the rust on the gate, I prefer the b&w version. The tones are lovely, as are the shapes and curves of the wrought iron. And I especially enjoy the light rim on those curved bars. I think you have shown just enough of the subject to create a little mystery. |

Unfortunately, we have seen so many iconic shots taken at Arlington Cemetery. I can appreciate the fact that you are tying to show us something different. But I find the interesting part of the picture is the lower third with the stones and the shadows. The trees are much too heavy in the frame and unfortunately the bald sky is not helping you any. I don't think the vertical is any better as there is too much unnecessary grass in the foreground. |

I find this a really fun image and it shows that you can find great subject matter in the least expected places! All the colors, tones and shapes add up to make this image successful. Orange and blue are great complimentary colors. |

A perfect capture taken at the right time of day. I would crop considerably from the left to take the bird out of the bull's eye center of the frame. |

The different hues of reds and oranges really appeal to me. The composition allows my eye to pass up the rocks to the well lit central cavern. This place is on my bucket list and I hope to get there soon. Is there an ideal month to visit? |

Candy, as usual, the treatment that you have given this bird has taken it from the ordinary to the extra ordinary. I particularly like the gradation of greens, from the leaves, to the beak and background. Well done. |

A simple clean landscape. The light captured on the water is great and I enjoy the way you have used the roots of the tree to lead my eye into the scene. |

Donna, Welcome to our group. We look forward to seeing many great nature images from you in the future and wish you a long and rewarding stay with our group.
Your male elk bugling has been captured beautifully. And the thick fog has taken care of the background without any distractions. I found the cow difficult to interpret as the base - her legs and head are just a dark mass. I tried to get some detail out of that area but without any success. |
