This is a definite improvement and takes your work to a new level. |

I love the depth captured along the entire length of the Fiord from left to right and the hills receding into the background. I also agree with the cut off house in the foreground. Either crop or clone it out. The clouds provide great mood to this image. |

I am primarily a nature photographer, so can appreciate the fine detail and the story telling moment that you have captured. The action is enhanced by the fact that there are no distractions in either the foreground or background. Definitely look like Sandhill cranes to me. |

My immediate reaction here was "where is Waldo" There is so much going on and the colors are so vibrant, yet it works so well together. I agree about cropping out the "-box" sign on the left. The 2 guys in the foreground with blue shirts and leather suspenders form the subject where my eye chooses to settle. |

I prefer the b&w version as it concentrates my eyes to the cog and the wheel. You have handled the tones well. I would NOT crop out the top horizontal beam as it is part of the water wheel and my brain can compute where it should end. The B&W version is simpler and clean. |

Welcome to the group, Dave. I have just returned from a visit to Washington and wish I had seen the address of this location while I was there! The composition is great. On my monitor I can see some detail in the foreground but with difficulty. I am sure you can open that area with the screen mode of the history brush tool in Photoshop. I'm sure Lightroom has a similar feature. |

These boots were made for walking! The texture in the leather has been well shown here. I agree with Jose's suggestion to add a strip of black at the bottom, as the shoe is so close to the frame to give the appearance of a merger. The focus of the back boot does not bother me. Conversion to b&w enhances the image. |

Here is a new version with the building straightened as you suggested. Do you think it makes that much difference? |

What a different picture from you this month, Rob. I like the composition and arrangement of the flowers. I would darken the background a little more to hide that horizontal twig. |

Both images work well, but I do prefer the color version. The greens are nice and subtle, but I would have enhanced the reds using "color balance, red" in Photoshop. The pattern is great and I'm pleased that you chose to show it off center. |

The waterfall has been well portrayed showing the cotton wool effect of a slow shutter speed. I agree with the vertical crop which has removed many of the distractions to the left and concentrates my eye on the waterfall. Green can be a difficult color to work with, but you have handled the different shades satisfactorily.

Great macro shot of the bee, with everything in focus. The image is a little bright overall on my monitor. Love all the Pollen! |

The flowers and plants are a great lead in to the mountains and beautiful sky in the background. Everything is sharp from front to back. I would brighten or lighten the hoodoos and also the mid-ground. |
