Well done for capturing this at the perfect point of impact! I find rodeos difficult because of all the distractions in the background and additional people, but you have done well to isolate the action. |

The reflection creates a perfect mirror image. I like the way that your horizon line is on a diagonal and is not dead center. |

The bulls eye effect works well in this image, and I agree that the symmetry makes the picture. |

Here is a color version of the same subject. Please notice that the black lines at the sides of his legs are part of the fabric of his trousers, and so I saw no reason to remove them. |

The head is perfectly sharp and so I don't mind the movement in the wings. I would suggest cloning out the bright spot below the wing. |

The bee eater is well positioned in the frame, and the background is well handled. I would extend the green into the top right corner to eliminate that lighter area which keeps drawing my eye. The branches in the lower right appeared unnecessary but you need them for the length of that tail. I agree that these birds are difficult to capture as they don't sit still for very long. |

I agree with the previous comments that the greens are over saturated. I would crop from the top to get rid of those few smaller clouds that are "floating out of the frame".
Overall a pleasing landscape of a great subject. |

Once again you have taken an ordinary picture and turned it into something special. The interaction of the two birds creates a wonderful nature story. |

Everything is tack sharp despite the f5.6 aperture. The clean background helps to show off the colors of the monarch perfectly. The square format works well here. |

Great representation of this historical event. I am enjoying the way that you have shown the different stages and the way that you set it out. We did not get total darkness here in Florida, so could not capture it as you did. |
