Thanks for all the feed back.
I specifically left the trash in place as this is a street shot in an African township, and the trash provides a sense of place. The streets are dirt, narrow, and lots of trash around. This washer woman is in the street close to an outside faucet. |

I find the composition very interesting and the blue tones are relaxing to my eye. I do not find the background to be distracting as it adds to the environment where this occurs. |

Beautiful colors all over and the boat in perfect position in the frame. I would not hesitate to hang this one on my wall. Well done. |

Very futuristic and a great improvement over the original. I would crop some off the left side to take the central stem out of the center of the frame. |

The spider and web are beautifully shown and the colors of the spider draw my attention. I find the background highlights to be a little distracting. I would paint over with a soft brush using light grey at a low opacity. |

What you have created is so much more interesting than the original and worth the effort it must have taken. The flower is well positioned in the frame, the colors are great, especially the greens that show up in the veins of the petals. |

I tried some star pictures when I was in Namibia earlier this year, but did not achieve anything as interesting as this. The foreground mountains have just enough light to form a solid base to the picture. The milky way stands out sufficiently from the background of stars. Keep up the good work! |

It works for me. The panoramic panel is unusual, which adds to the interest, and I appreciate the "old world" effect. Looks like the ostrich is about to attack that dead tree! |

Depth of field is beautifully handled. Background has no distractions, and the fall off in focus keeps my eye centered on the flower. |

Once again, you have captured a perfect moment as the egret was landing. As always, your post process is spot on. It is so easy to blow out the whites, but you have managed to maintain detail in all the feathers. |

What a great capture, caught at the perfect time. I love the interaction, the placement in the frame, the color palette, and the background with no distractions. |

The colors are great and the flower is well placed in the frame. I find that my eye wanders around the bloom and doesn't have anywhere to settle. I flipped the image so that the green leaf at the bottom acts as a lead in and allows my eye to follow the pattern better.
I do prefer the color version, as the green background is nice and soft probably due to the wind movement. |

Thanks, Brenda. It looked fine on my monitor, but I have now lightened in curves considerably. Hope it looks better on your monitor. |
