I had no idea what this was when I first opened the picture - we don't get much frost in Florida! I prefer the starkness of the black and white version. The composition flows nicely from top left to lower right, and the added elements provide more mystery to the image. I find Bob's rendition to be more 'bland' |

Very pleasing landscape, and good job with changing the sky. I agree with previous comments that the waterfall in the lower left is too bright should be toned down. |

Great perspective and color. You were lucky not to have any other tourists in your way. Well done with the hand holding. |

This is a great macro shot. The b&w conversion appeals to me as the main cog stands out from the rest of the patterns, and everything is tack sharp. I think the placement of the main cog in upper left was a good choice. |

I love the great variety of birds that you have in NZ. This one is perfectly captured as usual, and the out of focus waves provide an unobtrusive background. However, I would crop just a little off the top. Well done. |

Great capture and the camera angle is particularly good. The misty background has helped to remove any distractions. I would also crop about 20% off the lower part of the picture to take the leopard out of the center and get rid of some of the heavy tree trunk. |

Feather detail is beautiful. The vertical crop works perfectly. The angle of the neck provides added interest. |

I agree with the previous comments that this is an unusual portrayal of the Anhinga, but shows its habitat perfectly. Sharpness is excellent from tip of beak to wing tip, and the concentric rings in the water are an added interest. |

I tried star trails in Namibia last month. Its not as easy as it seems, and including the church as you have done in your second image to give the picture a base is a big improvement. The hand of man is acceptable in this group, and works well here. |
