Thanks for the suggestions. I have added some space to the front of the horse and cropped some off the right side. I think it is an improvement. |

The scene is definitely better portrayed in black and white, which creates a stark chilly atmosphere. You have captured the depth of the scene perfectly. I agree with Belinda's comments about the dark cloud in the center. |

I like the way the curve of the river is copied by the road on each side of the picture. The colors are great and the sky well handled. I agree with Bob's suggestion of darkening the base somewhat. |

I love what you have created here, which changes an ordinary record shot into something special. The fact that they chose this image for their website shows that they agree! The mood is great and you have placed the subjects in a good position. It doesn't matter to me that it is not perfectly sharp as that contributes to the feeling evoked by the picture. |

You have done well to eliminate all the distractions in the background so that the portrait is well presented. Love the color palette of the face and tunic which works well against the blue sky. The ribbons provide good color and serve as a lead in to the face. |

The bird is beautifully captured, well lit and great catch light in the eye. I think the lower half is unnecessary and draws my eye away from the main subject. I have cropped to a horizontal format which places the bird in a stronger position in the frame. What do you think? |

I love the 3D effect that you have created with this flower. The color palette is superb. The red in the upper and lower left corners are a slight distraction, but I think the flower is strong enough to hold my attention. |

One of my favorite birds in the African veld. I agree that they are skittish as you approach but I have been lucky on occasion where the bird just sat for me! The under surface of the wings are beautiful if you are able to catch it in flight. I don't mind the heavy tree that it is sitting on, but the branches on the left are a distraction and very easy to crop out. |

I think this is fine as a nature presentation and the people help to give a sense of scale. On my monitor the image is very light and could do with some added contrast. Did you try to polarize the sky, either in camera or post process? It may add detail to the clouds. |

The texture works well in this image to hold my attention to the face and eye. Without the texture the background is too bright and competing. The curve of the neck adds another great dimension to this portrait.

I agree with Chuck that the crop is too tight. The cub is very cute and you have shown his eyes perfectly which draws me in to the picture. I would suggest greater contrast between the cub and the background by adding contrast in RAW or dodge and burn with the history brush |

I thought the foreground adds value as it shows where the bird is landing |
