Kathleen, I prefer the color original version myself. I also like the original red color of the auto as it adds vibrancy to the image I think the fence adds tremendous impact to the story - as we the viewer are not permitted to cross the barrier into another world. The textured stocking, the crossed legs, the iPhone and the faceless anonymous worker are all great attributes to your story. |

Ed, you caught the child's delight at the huge bubble. I like the iridescent colors of the bubble and your image is nice and sharp. I like Bruce's idea of lighting the group of people and darkening the some of the background distractions. |

Bruce, thank you for including the original and color versions - your choice of B&W is best in my opinion as the red roses in the left would have been a distraction. Nice range of tones in the image and this is complemented by the black frame of the picture hanging on the wall. I also like Isaac's crop except for the frame of the right top corner being incomplete. The reflection and the double tea bags causes the viewer to pause and spend a moment extra with the image. The man is engrossed in his routine and we become part of his story. |

Sally, the colors of the image are all harmonious and work as a whole with the image. I like the musculature of the horse and the tongue. I agree with Isaac's crop and excluding the trees in the background which add to declutter the image. Perhaps adding a vignette to the corners to emphasize the subjects in the center. |

Isaac, clear and defined subject with focus on the surfer. I like the side lighting which adds a shadow and depth to the image. The monochromatic colors with layers of foreground, middle ground and back ground - adds to the composition and balance of the image. I like how the subject is framed between the two posts of the window- giving you a sense that you the viewer/photographer is engaged in the scene. I agree with the cropping of the right figure. |
