Ed, interesting back story of Margarita Island-and Isaac's additional info. I like the symmetry of the architectural elements of the church which still looks remarkably well preserved. The woman provides foreground interest. Your post processing and use of selective color for the woman and Christ on the cross ties the two together and moves the viewer's eyes from one to the other. |

Bruce, your image is all the more interesting because of the unusual view of the famous monument. You have the layers of foreground (the roots of the tree); middle ground (the children) and the background monument. The cherry blossom time gives your image the sense of time, and the unusual poses of the kids enjoying the day gives life to your image. Great capture. |

Isaac, the simplicity of black and white garments bring attention to the dancers and their limbs. I also like the free flowing form of the white dress that denotes motion. Nice clean background and blur to focus on the front dancer. The back dancer is interesting because of his musculature. |
