Good idea! I'll see if I can get a print copy and get it to him. I took about 17 shots with the lil dog actively up and down and yapping all the way. Great fun! |

Dan, sounds like you made an effort of choosing the time of shooting which plays an important factor with the light of the day. Lighting is even and flat, not necessarily a bad thing in this case. At f/8 your image is sharp throughout; perhaps try experimenting at wider apertures and see if you like the results. I like Isaac's version and the story of the interaction of the boy's hand reaching to touch the scarecrow statute. |

Bruce, sounds like you had a wonderful time in Morocco. As Isaac mentioned, this is really a picture within a picture. It was a spontaneous moment and that's the joy of street photography - capturing the human condition. I like Isaac's suggested version. If the image is low resolution, I might also suggest trying to get a "silhouette" type image since it's back lit, and adding more warmth. Looking forward to other images of your trip. |

Les, you caught the peak of action in this image. His hands and eye direct the viewer to the activity. Good story line. Wondering if you used a flash? |

Welcome to the group, Sally! What a lovely image, caught in a moment of admiration. Your post processing of darkening the bright spots to bring focus the car is good. Nice placement of the car on the thirds. Great image! |

Isaac, this is an interesting image; the contrast of the different modes of attire, and ages, their prayer gestures and yet the image is cohesive because they are all men, wearing hats and facing a common wall. Nice clean background and great textures of rough walls contrasting with the smooth floors. I like the composition of three-quarter profile and diagonal camera placement adding depth. Good vertical crop and clean edges with no distracting elements. I also like your "grungier" version which brings out more tonal values and is a bit edgier |
