Daniel, interesting image with a lot to hold the viewer's attention. This looks like a very colorful event. Nice job! |

Bruce, the reverse "L" created by the window ledge and frame adds depth to image by giving the viewer a foreground and leads the viewer past the frame to the inside. The bottles of the ledge are repeated by those inside the shop and add coherence to the composition. I also like the overall monochromatic color tones of the image. The subject is the couple and the dark colors add contrast and define the subject. Thanks for the back story; the timing in an uncertain world changed for everyone due to the pandemic. |

Les …capturing the interaction between the children and the ducks gives a story line to your image. The white duck stands out because of its aggressive look and because it is different from the rest of the other ducks. Nicely composed and framed with the foliage forming a natural vignette to the image. Lighting looks to be evenly flat across the image - surmising it must have been an overcast day. Good job Les. |

Roger, capturing the cyclist is what gives this image a clearly defined subject. The concentric circles frame the cyclist and the diagonals provide leading lines and depth. I particularly like how the white directional arrow on the left wall points the viewer to the subject. The lighting is nice and the shadows add texture and interest. Perhaps my only suggestion is to remove the white incomplete logo at the very bottom edge of the image. Good job capturing a moment in time. |

Isaac, I like the movement suggested by the man's foot and arms and his profile. He's gazing at something to his right and this puts the viewer in the image to imagine what has caught his interest. Compositionally the image is well balanced with the subject placed on the thirds and there is sufficient space on the left side to fill his gaze. Perhaps cropping in a lil tighter on the left side to exclude some of the textured bush may be a suggestion, but the image is still strong as it is presented. |
