Stephen, thanks for dropping by. I always smile whenever I see these "Worms" signs in rural small towns in Ontario which draws fishermen because of its numerous rivers and lakes. |

Dan, interesting skyline and reflections in this night capture. This type of photography is always a challenge - low light conditions and of course you're at the mercy of the weather. I like your panoramic feel of the city and the subtle clouds that add interest to an otherwise bland sky. To me, the water is more interesting than the sky; Isaac's suggestion to perhaps crop some of the sky in order to place the waterline lower on the horizon would work. Your comment about the "tools" is interesting. If you ever visit Atlanta, then the distinctive "architect's pencil" (reportedly designed by a student of nearby GA Tech) and the "Eraser" are landmarks for both the city and the students. |

Bruce, nice elements of composition in your image with the students walking into the scene. The viewer is aware that this is a below ground environment enlivened with real people and painted people. I also like the slight movement blur of the legs that adds a sense of action to the shot. Good post processing and cropping. |

Les, the man's intent focus and attention on the snakes show me that the snake will strike given a chance. A story that captures the relationship between man and reptiles. Good camera position with no distracting elements. Good job! |

Welcome to the group Roger. Good use of framing to draw the eye and enclose the subject and show elements of the environment. Very interesting use of textures and reflections that keep the eye moving around the image. I love that the boat is red and is the center of the attraction with ripples that indicate movement. Nice perspective. |

Isaac, the red cock is the real hero of this image and both he and the proud owner know it. The eyes have it. Clear subject that tells a story. Love all the triangles that arein the image created by the joints and angles of the bird's feet and arms of the holder. Image is tack sharp. Great image. |
