Thanks Bruce for your edits. Never occurred to me to convert to B&W and makes it all the more interesting. Love the play of shadows and light!! |

Dan, good idea to convert to B&W. What a display of strength! I like the vertical elements of the tree trunks to enclose the subject. The slight motion blur of her head denotes action. As to whether you cropped to closely?...I would suggest that you crop even more tightly from the left and right sides to the first tree trunks. This to me would eliminate portions that do not "add" any more information to the image and also place the subjects slightly off center to improve the composition. |

Bruce, it's always a joy to see new life! The man in the white shirt is presumably the dad and I love the expression on his face. I would tend to assume that the "baby" would have a few of his features but that's the mystery of your image and left to our imagination. I may desaturate the purple-pink shirt of the woman in the background to improve the color harmony. |

Hassan, interesting image of a store front reflection. I like the man in the foreground who appears to be looking at the group of three crossing the street. I particularly like how the blue box at his eye level perfectly frames a human figure. A suggestion would probably to make a tighter crop and thus eliminate the distractions on either side of the image. |

Isaac, group of three and one is not like the other. Fun image and you can tell that this carriage has been well used over many years to develop the patina on the seat and arms. The carriage itself acts like a self-contained frame to enclose the group. I like the expression on the face of the boy in red and want to know what he's looking at that's outside the frame. Nice and sharp where it matters. Thanks for enclosing the 2nd image and taking us to places where I haven't been. |
