Isaac, the well manicured lawns and gardens takes a lot of manual labor. These young gardeners have a pain staking job of pulling the weeds with pliers. One of the two is watching while the other is working. The image is anchored by the smooth concrete monolith and the stone embankment forms a "7" which leads back to the focus point. Touches of green surround the women and pulls the image together. Lots of textures and contrast in the hardscape makes the image all the more interesting. Well seen! |

Hassan, a very interesting street scene with lots of textures of old cobblestones and stone buildings and balconies. The old yellow car is prominent and points to the leading line of the street. The back lighting adds soft shadows. One suggestion is perhaps to convert to B&W which may tone the strong colors and sky. |

What a wonderful capture! Where are all the men? The woman in the center looks like the matriarch of the clan. The touches of red throughout ties the image together and the black background is perfect. |

Marius, the look of glee on the photographer's face tells it all. There is a nice triangular shape formed by the man's head, the bird and the phone camera which keeps the eye moving around the image. You caught the man under the umbrella so there are no harsh shadows on his face. Background is sufficiently blurred so as not to be distracting and tells of the beach environment. Nicely done! |

Daniel, I like both versions of your image- color and B&W suggested by Marius. The human form is easily recognizable and the boy's limbs form a triangle; the gesture of his hand and legs shows movement. The clean negative space below the subject adds a resting place for the eye and balances the otherwise texture of the leaves and trees. Good job! |
