So far no one has commented on the mis-matched shoes of the incumbent. One reason I also like the color version of the image is that to me it contrasts the "haves" and the "haves-not" of our society. Thanks for all your feedback. |

Daniel - interesting composition of two groupings of individuals sharing a common space and separated by the box in the center. To me the more interesting group is the two children at play as there is a connection between the two. There is a range of textures throughout and your choice of converting this to a monochrome is a good one. |

Jim, what a beauty. I like the angle from which you took this image- with the car is in its own space with a backdrop of people, trees and a beautiful sky. |

Hassan, how refreshing it is to see children playing ball in the street instead of buried in a cell phone. For this reason your image has a timeless feel and takes one to a past era. I especially like the lighting of the scene as if the performance were on a stage. The interaction is between the two boys and is connected by the ball. I agree with Isaac's crop-as the 3rd boy detracts from the scene. Well done. |

Life on the river! This barge photographer finds something that interests him enough to record it on his phone. He is framed by the door opening which makes him the subject of the composition. The deck environment adds to the image as do the vibrant colors. Image is nice and sharp! |

Randy, welcome to the group, I look forward to seeing your images. This is a place I hope to get to one day. Your image shows an example of old vs. new. The atmospheric clouds adds to the image and the group of people brings a sense of scale as well as humanity to the geometry of the scene. Your image is well-composed and balanced with leading lines that take you to the center of the composition. I agree with Isaac's adjustments. Well done! |
