8 Dec 19 Comment Interesting camera technique and sense of repetition created from using the same scene. Like the limited color palette and the neon bikes against the black background. Different shapes of circles and verticals set on a diagonal plane all contribute to making the image interesting. Dec 18th

8 Dec 19 Comment Nice triptych of images that tell a story. The heron is the most compelling of the three images and I like how you've given it space in front to look into. The 3rd image's (bottom right) (as Mark mentions) tonal values are a bit light and possibly adding a vignette is all it needs. Well done, Alastair. Dec 18th

58 Dec 19 Comment Daniel, I like the woman's pose and her bare arms complements the workers. Nice composition with a group of three figures. Limited color palette with a plain background makes the subject stand out. Good capture! Dec 18th
58 Dec 19 Comment Beautiful lighting and capture. The blue sky is nice complementary against the gold lights. The caped driver makes the image all the more interesting and adds atmosphere. I agree with Isaac's edits. Dec 18th
58 Dec 19 Comment Interesting camera position, Lauren. I like the placement of the hand and chopsticks and all the circular items which contribute to make a cohesive image. Possible crop to the right of the image to tidy up the right edge of the frame? Were you on a bridge? Dec 18th

The subject's eyes are placed on the thirds and the cigarette hanging from his mouth adds interest to the story. Possible to remove the "pole" from his head? Dec 18th

I also love the original photo because of the interesting light, complete with ladder and fire truck and the kids silhouetted against the back light water... You get the sense of spontaneity from the kids with socks and the umbrella completes the image. Nice capture. Dec 18th
