Thanks for this version Alastair. I prefer this - it gives me the freedom of flight. |

Interesting shop façade - purple ornate "Victorian?". The lawn is freshly mowed so presumably the barber shop is open for customers. Interesting textures throughout . I feel the center of interest is the shop door and all the kitsch around. Perhaps excluding a bit of the left and right sections to focus on this section? |

Good action shot and separation of the animals between the white horse and the black bull. I like the dirt and the addition of the spectators at the back. Your image tells a story and the danger all three face in the arena. |

Mark, this is one neat way to focus attention on the subject and deal with a busy background. The orchids are well positioned in the frame. I like the radial gradient but feel the colors compete with the subject. |

Looks like a painting and definitely recognizable as a bird in flight! The grey colors and monochromatic palette are appealing. I would try placing the bird more to the right to give the more "space" for the bird to fly into the left as a composition alternative. |

Very creativeâ⬦nice curves and leading lines. I also like the vibrant colors and the blue/yellow combination. This looks more like an abstract to me and I don't recognize the human torso; it's amazing what one can do in post processing. |

Daniel, I also like the lone child as the center of attention in your image. Offered is a different version - included the back wall with steps in your original version, but cropped the right side to place the child off-center on the thirds. I believe this resulted in roughly an 8x10 aspect ratio, instead of the panorama. |

Jim..one can almost hear the boom and roar of the cannons. I like the flag and the man pushing with all his might. Offered is a different alternative- the original whole sky is included; but cropped in to the center and converted to B&W. This helps retain the horizon line on the thirds. |

Hassan, I also like this month's image and the lighting in the scene and how it brings focus to the man at the end. I agree with Isaac's edits although I would probably have kept the "bollard" because it seems to part of the street environment and it's crookedness and off-center kilter makes for an interesting artifact of the street. |

Isaac..interesting leading lines created by the family hands and fingers adding depth to the image and leading to the sign. Composition is well balance and even the negative space at the bottom left is interesting with reflections and water/food dots. Color palette is purple and orange - what luck! Good clean crop and edges free from intrusions. Love the story of the man chowing down and boy intent on digging in. |

Thanks for your comments Isaac. I always appreciate your feedback. I shot this from the front passenger side, and the difficulty was trying to maintain speed on a very busy highway safely i.e a moving car with moving subjects in dark conditions. I managed to get about 7 images, zooming out and in at the same time. The driver is a woman and quite composed and unfazed by traffic or weather. The spots are from my closed car window - I didn't try to remove the spots as I think they added a bokeh and atmosphere. Although the image is mainly monochromatic - I love the touch of yellow added by the makeshift trash bag. You mentioned the crop - and from my seated position would have be near impossible to get the whole front wheel in with the 24-240 lens I had with me at the time. Here is the 1st image in the shoot in which I had zoomed in to fill the frame. |
