8 Jun 19 Comment Architecture meets Nature! Good capture with the arches providing a framing for the trees. I like the larger tree placed on the "thirds" which also provide a focal point. Perhaps also cropping a bit off the right edge to exclude the "crown" of the larger palm and tidy the right side of the image? Jun 20th
8 Jun 19 Comment Very contemplative image that speaks from the past. Good capture and the silence is only broken by the wind movement reflected in the flag. Thanks for sharing. Jun 20th
8 Jun 19 Comment Nice composition Mark. Color harmony and silhouettes against a sunset are indicative of "Africa". The square format adds to your composition. Jun 20th
8 Jun 19 Comment Alastair… great camera position- leading lines of the furrows point to the man in the tractor and the birds in flight add to an interesting composition. Just goes to show that interesting images can be made in the backyard and you don't have to travel to exotic locations. Well done! Jun 20th
8 Jun 19 Comment Thanks for the explanation of how this was created. Very creative idea of using a real palette and a digital palette. Although the shape is there, I think that the "missing" thumb hole would go a long way for the viewer to recognize this as a palette to fill in the gap. Jun 20th

58 Jun 19 Comment Daniel…including the "ice-cream" tot makes this a group of three in the composition. I like the man-size ice cream cone as well which adds a "fun" factor to your image. Offered is a cropped version in which the top, white, bright windows were excluded. Jun 20th
58 Jun 19 Comment Jim, you caught these two individuals in a very human moment at close-up range. In these crowded venues it sometimes difficult to get clean shots. The umbrella provides a framing for the two. I also like the blurred background which places emphasis on the subjects. Jun 20th
58 Jun 19 Comment Dan...I like the framing provide by the arbor which brings us right to the center of interest and fortified by the strong shadow. I also like the look of intense concentration of the young girl surrounded by the balloons. The exclusion of the feet is no big deal - as long as you're not cropping at the "joints". I agree with Isaac's edits. Well done! Jun 20th
58 Jun 19 Comment Hassan, I like the atmospheric conditions of the image and the puddles and reflections. I also like the lone figure of the man with his tool. I agree with the second version of Isaac's edits -noticing that the crop on the right side excluded the 4th window and the crop on the left excluded the door helped to tidy the left edge. The "idea" of depth is provided by the pavement lines which lead to the back of the image and the horizon. You may want to try putting a vignette around the subject to darken the edges of the image and reduce the "highlight" areas which can be done in Lightroom. Jun 20th
58 Jun 19 Comment Isaac, great capture of the sleeping man. I like the triangular shape formed by the knees and also repeated by his face and the folds and lapels of his clothing and stool. The street environment also provides great textures of polished (glass windows) vs. pockmarked wall. Thanks for including alternate crop versions of the image. Of the three versions - I like "Original 1" in which the "subject" is clearly defined in a "clean space". The entirety of the purple sign provides context of a foreign country and the purple gives a hint of subdued color. Jun 20th
