8 Dec 18 Comment Marcus...Very interesting and powerful image and in-camera effect. Thanks for sharing your technique-I 'll have to try this. Did you have to try different shutter speeds? Dec 19th
8 Dec 18 Comment Snehendu…this images tells a story and is one of contrasts. There is a mysterious dark passage and the steps leading to a closed door; then the red dress hanging from the balcony- all signs of human habitation. I also like the perspective provided by a corner shot. Makes you wonder what it was like to have once lived here. Dec 19th
8 Dec 18 Comment Mark… Nice complementary colors of red and green and a simple composition. I like the textures of his scales with a touch of black against the softness of the petals. I'm not quite sure of the "catchlight"- perhaps just lightening the area around the eye would have provided enough of a contrast and focus point. Dec 19th
8 Dec 18 Comment Alastair... I like the suggestion of movement in the blurred people against the Christmas window. The reds are typical of the season and expresses the rush and colors of the season. Happy Holiday to you too! Dec 19th
8 Dec 18 Comment Lovely memory of a past time having fun. Good idea to blur the background. Dec 19th

58 Dec 18 Comment Isaac…The men are nicely contained between the posts and bollards, with a clean neutral background. The street environment and geometry of the fence separates the elements into three - foreground, middle and background giving depth to the image. You caught them in mid stride with feet lifted off the street and I like the hand gesture of the man tipping his hat.. They are similarly dressed making them the focus of the image. Wonderful image! 58 Dec 18 Comment Daniel.. The women are framed by the walls of the window which adds to the composition. The reds & blues hues connect the whole image and the black dress of the woman on the left grounds and anchors the image. Dec 19th
58 Dec 18 Comment Jim..the uplifted arms makes this boy the center of focus and he's looking directly into the shot. I like the touches of blue which takes your eye around the image and your post processing technique. Good idea to remove the red pole. Dec 19th
58 Dec 18 Comment Dan I like the connection between the woman and her dog with a red bow!. Camera position is good and low to the ground. The background is mostly neutral and clean. Perhaps moving slightly to the left would have placed her head against the whitish building in the background to give a cleaner shot and avoid the merging of her head to the people in the background. Dec 19th
58 Dec 18 Comment Hassan…there is depth to the image as one moves past the fence, into the street and beyond to the seated figures. I didn't notice the cable car but I think it adds additional interest to the sky area. I like the movement in the ball and you managed to get the players between the lines of the fence. The blue in the shirts and the house connects the image. Good shot! Dec 19th
