Marcus..I much prefer this pose and the fanshape swing of the light than your original submission. Working with the small jpeg copy I was able to bring out more detail using a few sliders in PS..using the clarity slider and the selective color to increase the magenta hues. To me this image has potential. |

Marcus …Very interesting image and the city skyline add so much to the image. Light painting adds another dimension to night photography. Coincidentally my camera club also did a "light painting" session recently and the model's features were blurred. The solution one of the professional photographers in the group suggested was adding an off-camera flash at the very end of the session. I'll have to look into Eric Pare's images. Thanks for sharing. |

Snehendu..I like all the variations of the color black in this image. Antique cars are always interesting. The color and the reflected image of the photographer appears odd to me and detracts from the subject. |

Mark.. I like the textures of the brush marks in the cement and the light, medium and dark tones of the image. The yellow and ochre colors of the image reflect the idea of a sunny day. Nice composition. |

Alistair - very nice processing to get all the verticals nice and straight. The two commuters add interest to the story and are nicely framed in the arch. The lack of i-phones is an added relief. Well balanced composition and very interesting image. Thanks for sharing. |

Wide Panoramic view..and the two tiny people to the right gives a sense of scale to the vista. I would love to see more of the distant mountains to the rear. |

Deborah..the leading lines and "L" shapes in this image all bring focus to the subject. I even like the "L" shape cryptology drawn on his basket which repeats on the stance of his leg. The background all bring context to the scene and shows a vendor in a park. Isaac's rendition brings some separation to the vendor against his background. Like Daniel mentioned..probably would have desaturated the red of the pedestrians in the background. Nice shot! |

Daniel..I also like the opposites suggested by your image- the "perfect' poster lady vs. the "imperfect" bystanders. Nice composition with the triangle of heads and the complementary colors of blue /orange. The finger pointing up adds some tension to the story. |

Great image Jim…timeless and colorful! The items for sale are interesting- obviously not mass produced. I like the doll as it looks like a miniature image of the vendor. Great memory. |

Nice Composition Dan. I like the triangle formed by the twins and echoed by the big shape of the rock and reinforced by the drawing. The water line on the sand provides a leading line that takes us to the back of the image. The horizon is placed on the thirds and the twins are off-center. Great image! |

Hassan..Interesting graffiti and colors add to your image. The reflections of the photographer is an added bonus and gives depth. I agree with Isaac's cropping of the hardware at the left edge of the image- but I would have retained the graffiti to continue the look. Nice job! |

Isaac… love the lighting and the post processing treatment of your image. The umbrellas act as soft box diffusers don't they? Your choice of f/14 reaches way back to show the detail of the people in the back of the plaza. Interesting camera position! The groups of people in the foreground add to the interest of the image, especially the family interaction on the right. |
