8 May 18 Comment Nice story telling image...the deflated balloons at his feet add to the story. I offer an alternate "flipped" version and cropped a bit more to focus on the vendor.

8 May 18 Comment The filter adds additional texture to the image and the colors are vibrant and colorful. Very creative endeavor! May 13th
8 May 18 Comment Strong architectural image...with curves and contrasting straight angles. Consider adding a bit of canvas at the top edge... May 13th
8 May 18 Comment Alistair...nice composition and detail in the tree branches. The bits of greenery in the foreground makes for additional interest. You may also like to try for a diagonal angle ( i.e. to place the fence on the diagonal) on your next walk. May 13th
8 May 18 Comment Very good post processing - the conversion reveals details & textures not readily apparent in the original. Looks like a fine etching. May 13th
8 May 18 Comment Creative...and a mystery to keep the viewer wondering. Probably convert to B&W. May 13th

58 May 18 Reply Dan...to answer your question- to select only the whites, try this...Select/Color range/use the eye dropper tool and touch the white bits of the chair until you are happy...it will select all the whites; but when you add the mask, you can paint out the unwanted parts(Chess pieces) w/ black. 58 May 18 Comment Daniel I like the intensity of the subject's eyes. The red mirror and placement of the hands draws attention to his face and actions. I also like the repetition of the triangles formed by the hat and the hands. Good capture. May 13th
58 May 18 Comment Jim... cute subject and the red/blue color combo is always a winner. Your grandson also brings a sense of scale to the artwork which has interesting textures. Compositionally I also feel that there are 2 subjects in the image so I agree with Isaac's cropped version. May 13th
58 May 18 Comment Dan.. red is the color of the day! There is a human element with the painting of the man on the back wall and the whole image gives the viewer a lot interesting things to look at. To me, a slight crop off the left edge cleans up the image and brings the focus back to the chair. May 13th
58 May 18 Comment Night photography always remind me to get out more at this time to capture interesting images. I like the focus on the red bicycle and the contrast of the still man against the busyness of the others in the scene. To meet the challenge of the distortion of the newsstand - I used Isaac's rendition image and using the Bezier tool in Transform, to straighten the edges of the building. Followed with a "black" mask and revealed just the parts needed. May 13th
58 May 18 Comment Beautiful lighting and nice composition - with foreground/middle ground/background. I like Isaac's slight modifications. Inviting idyllic scene to be enjoyed by the viewer! May 13th
58 May 18 Comment Nice story.. the living animal and the dead automobile. The movement in the horse's tail and foreleg also makes a nice contrast to the still car although there is a size difference. I like all the interesting textures and the layers in the background. This is image of contrasts-good capture Isaac! May 13th
