Your choice of a gradient brown background helps to unify the art work together. The placement and sizes of the various boards appears to be thoughtful, broken by the blue ovals in the middle. As an abstract in shapes and colors it is a harmonious piece and brings together disparate artwork.

Very interesting image Marcus and good idea to convert to B&W or monochromatic. I like the texture of the tangled mass and the suggestion of an abandoned structure. Composition is heavily weighted to the right mass and perhaps you may want to consider a closer crop. |

Very creative and lovely vibrant colors in the purple/magenta range. Nice job blending the images together for a composite.

Gruesome indeed but I admire your creative and humorous spirit. The pig's head on its own is an interesting object. |

Alastair I like the padlock and the diagonal latch together with the interesting hardware which surrounds it. I also like the hues, wooden textures and black door surrounding the lock. To me the "text" while interesting on its own detracts and competes for my attention - thus I feel there are two subjects to choose from. |

Amparo..you caught all the textures of the face, hair and clothing in your portrait.Nice clean black background. Tells a story to me of a life not easy. Keep up the good work! |

Dan..try using the magic wand tool or select/color range tool ; either of these tools work by color and you can add to the selection by holding shift button. You get much more precise selections; then darken by adding a levels adjustment. |

Daniel…this is a humorous image - the eyes of the bull draws you into the image in contrast to the woman who is engaged in her phone.I like the framing and the square crop. The dark background helps the details recede into the back and bring out the subjects. I agree that the whites should be toned down a bit . Good capture. |

Jim… this tiny girl is a great contrast to everything around her, and her pink garb makes her the natural focus point in the image which is primarily blue. I like her placement in the triangle formed by cowboy's arms , his hat and the horse's head. The colors are harmonious and the background cattle adds interest to your image. I agree with Isaac that the cowboy at the edge of the frame is a distraction.

Glad to see your images again Dan! I like the environmental portrait which shows the tools of the leather man's trade including the "stuff" in the trailer. The image is interesting and composition and framing are nicely done. I would have liked to see more of his face, perhaps a Ă‚ľ profile. |

I also like the B&W conversion and agree with Isaac's crop and straighten. I like the blurriness of the bus and running man in the background. The man in the foreground adds to the image. Nice job Hassan. |

Nice sharp image Isaac with a foreground, middle ground and background. Very interesting environment with the mats, brush walls and the utensils The image of hospitality is conveyed by the expressions in the faces and the presence of sharing coffee. Very nice post processing with good details. |

Welcome to the group Deborah. Very nice post processing to bring out the colors of the image. The focus is on the girls and the view is unobstructed. The bright colors of the girls' skirts and the "saint" and the flags keep the eye moving around the image. I like that you caught the people in action - I agree with keeping the clapping hands as it adds to the image. Good street scene. |
