7 Mar 17 Comment Excellent detail and sharpness throughout. Super portrait. I know you're supposed to leave space for him to look through but I think there might be just a bit too much. I would crop a bit and darken the highlights in the background. Excellent. Mar 14th
7 Mar 17 Comment Beautiful framing, Nikos. The atmosphere is caught exactly as it should be. Did you bracket? Tom's suggestions are right on. Mar 14th
7 Mar 17 Comment Beautiful image, Barbara. Good composition and great color. I also think that cropping some off the bottom would eliminate the only uninteresting area of the picture and make the tree even more dominant. Mar 14th
7 Mar 17 Comment Someone once taught me that inside most pictures there is a better picture that needs to be brought out. This is a perfect example. Great image and a bit cleaner with Tom's suggestions. Your composition is what makes the picture as good as it is. Forget the rules. Mar 14th
7 Mar 17 Comment I agree with Rich and Nikos. You did an excellent job of making the picture interesting to look at. Mar 14th

33 Mar 17 Comment Paul, don't touch a thing. This is a beautiful pastoral scene with the proper mood and feeling. The house is understated as it should be in this grand natural setting. Great picture! Mar 14th
33 Mar 17 Comment Welcome from Canada, Sherryl. We're getting to be a virtual UN.

I think the colors, the detail, the contrast and the overall sharpness is excellent. Everything just pops out with such clarity. I have one suggestion which is to tone down the woman's right shoulder and arm. And I have one observation. In the world of fashion the retouchers would eliminate the hump that her blouse is making on the left side of the woman on the left. Might be worth a try. Excellent capture!

33 Mar 17 Comment Great news about the house, Elizabeth. Hope everything goes well.

This is my kind of image. Love it. I think Larry's suggestions are right on. Wonderful idea to do a panorama to get it all in. I must try that some day. Beautiful job.

33 Mar 17 Comment Judi, I've never done anything like this and I think it's great. Larry's right and it wouldn't take much to give the foreground a bit more definition without lighting it up. If anything bothers me it's the light spot coming over the mountain on the right. It doesn't add anything but is a distraction. Excellent. Mar 14th
33 Mar 17 Comment Larry, I hate to tell you this but I wouldn't touch a thing. The colors, the layers, the mood all perfect. Great image! Mar 14th
