Nice grab shot. Good color. Very good human interest shot. It's too bad the figures in the background weren't thrown out of focus. Got to love the fun they're having. |

Beautiful detail front to back. Excellent framing so that the new building doesn't touch the old structure. I would crop the old building that's attached on the right side which would also eliminate the puddle on the ground. If you prefer to keep the structure on the right then I would clone out the puddle. Going BW seems perfect. Good work. |

Excellent colors and composition. I'm surprised at the great depth of field you got at F4. The lamppost in the foreground is just as sharp as the detail on the building. |

Excellent shot, Barbara. Super composition with the bird's reflection leading to the subject. It seems like the left side of the bird might be a little blown out but doesn't impact the image over all. Great colors as well. |

Great detail and very sharp where it has to be. It's not a deal breaker but it would have been perfect if the top of his back where all there. I'm curious what mm the lens was at. Do you know that? Excellent shot. |

Beautiful color and great detail in the flowers. The two white buds at the top are a distraction and seem out of place. I agree with Barbara that cropping them would be the thing to do. |

Many people who start out doing landscapes think that they must use a wide angle lens to capture the whole vista and as a result they don't have a point of focus. You probably use other lenses but this image suffers from too much wide angle. As a result we have a large expanse of plain water and a far off picture of what might be interesting foliage. I suggest you crop the image inside the small tree on the left and crop 1" to 1.5" off the water. I would then zoom in to try to bring out the more detail in the sky and the rest of the picture. |

Sometimes the nicest pictures are the ones that are straightforward and simple. This is an excellent example of such an image. Very well done with good detail and dynamic contrast. Well done.
Good to hear your putting your life back together. Good luck! |

I've never used a haze filter. Does it cut through or create haze? The composition is excellent but I think I would crop the tree on the right which would also remove the branches hanging in upper right. There seems to be a lot of texture in the grass that could be strengthened to give it more character. Also, it might be an idea to try to get more out of the sky. I think this image has a great deal of potential. Good shot. |

My first reaction was to want the rocks to disappear but the more I looked at it the more I accepted them. The color is beautiful and the cloud effect is excellent. The cloud reflection is just enough to be real. I think I would clone out the foliage lower right. I'm from Canada and have never been there so I better get moving. Beautiful! |

Great composition, Larry. I like the motion of the wave and the lines that take your eye from the bottom to the top of the image. The color is right on and the white in the foam is just right. The capture of the motion is excellent. Well done. |

You obviously have never been to the north eastern area of North America in the Fall. The colors are magnificent and depending on the time of day and angle of light the colors can be just about any hue. |
