As a documentary image, it is well-done although I would suggest a tighter crop from the top and sides. For. competition, I agree with Joe K. that a different approach his needed to make it stand out. |

A very good effort. The main issue, as previously mentioned, is lighting. The models right side and breast area are underexposed. I am attaching a jpg image, Digital Lighting Guide, which displays 24 different ways to light a model. This might be helpful for future model shoots. The second issue is a result of the in-experienced model: the placement of the left hand is a little awkward and her smile is not very attractive. I am sure this experience has been helpful for you. |

Thanks Peter. Those are all good suggestions. This is not an image I will use for competition because of the messy background and the raggedy appearance of the animal. It is however a nice documentary "nature" shot. |
