17 Aug 21 Comment I like both versions of the lighthouse. Regarding the one submitted, I agree with Sheldon's comments. In addition, a bit more contrast and texture in the rocks might improve the eye appeal. Also, a monochrome version would be interesting if the sky could be forced to have a little drama. Aug 16th
17 Aug 21 Comment Your explanation was necessary for me to appreciate the sculpture. The strong dappled light does not enhance the visual impact. Perhaps without the bright sunlight and even a rendition in monochrome would be helpful. My personal preference would have been without the dog walker. Aug 16th

17 Aug 21 Comment With all of the great advice already received, there is little I can add. The one I want to reenforce is to join a camera club and be an active participant. Also, it is helpful to seek out educational opportunities through your club, workshops where you associate with experts in their field and gain hands-on experience in shooting and processing images.
