I like the colors and serenity of this image. The uplifting on the right looks un-natural and a little unsettling. I like the suggestion of having a person or object included in the composition. |

An excellent macro technique with a subject having interesting texture and geometry. Monochrome is certainly a wise choice here. I really like this image. |

A very nice result which fits the PSA Print definition of "Creative Altered Reality." I think the suggestion of increased contrast and saturation is helpful. The combination of focus stacking and intentional camera movement is counter-intuitive but the finished image has a pleasing and abstract feel. |

Welcome to the group Marisa. This is a very peaceful and pleasant scene you have selected. I agree with the suggested crops and adjustments to contrast and saturation. All of the post processing tools mentioned are also available in Adobe Lightroom. You might consider a subscription to the Lightroom-Photoshop package for $9.99 per month. |

An interesting scene well-captured. As composed, I think the boat should be toned down a bit and some contrast and saturation added to the shack and dock. In fact, another take on this would be to feature only the shack and dock and bring out the detail in the buoys. The gull seems extraneous to me. |

Great image John. This "up and close" technique is my favorite for birds. I think Sheldon's re-work is an improvement, especially in the eyes which are the first thing a viewer looks at here. The feather detail is excellent in both texture and color. |

Thanks for all the helpful comments. I agree the vegetation is a little over- saturated. I applied the vignette in post-processing. If I use this image in competition, I will take all of these observations into consideration. |
