I agree on the cropping suggestions from the left and bottom. The main elements of the of the grass, tower and sky should be emphasized. Also, the sky drama could be increased in Lightroom using the Dehaze slider and possibly the HSL panel. |

I agree with the cropping suggestion but would go even further, I prefer the subdued background you chose as it lets the flowers shine as the subject. It is definitely an eye-catcher. |

I like your work here and the angle adds interest to the photo. Perhaps a little crop from the right and bottom. Black and White is a great artistic choice. |

I like the image "as is." I think your choices for composition and post-processing present a very interesting photo. |

The image has a lot of potential. I suggest dodging the grass around the shed as a point of interest. The sky might have more drama by using the Dehaze slider in Lightroom and also by playing with the blue channel in the Camera Calibration Panel or the HSL panel. Also, a crop from the right and bottom might be helpful. |

Good suggestion Sheldon. I will try that on my version for competition. |

Thanks Joe. There were at least 30 photographers there. Our group arrived early and picked our spots . Fortunately, no one jumped in front of me. |

You really nailed this one. Your careful planning and preparation paid off. The detail and color is exquisite. The strong diagonal line adds a lot of interest. This is competition quality. |

The detail go the butterfly is crisp with lots of vibrant color.nI agree with Tage on the cropping. I would also crop in from the left and eliminate the white unfocused flower. |

This is really a great image with the triangular position of the antlers and the foggy background. My two suggestions are to brighten up the main subject and crop in from the bottom and right side too really feature the foreground animal (caribou?) |

A good "environmental" shot nicely processed. The tall grass at the left is somewhat distracting. Also, the entire background could be subdued to make the bird stand out more.

Good capture Gary. These are difficult birds to photograph and get the perfect pose. The image is sharp and well-processed. |
