I like the creativity and storytelling in this image. The captain looks authentic and the model ship is perfectly detailed. The bear does not make sense pictorally and has to be verbally explained, as you did. I think it would be a stronger image if omitted. |

Welcome to the group Joe.
You chose a challenging venue and captured the story and impressions quite well.
I think Joe's crop is a big improvement that narrows the distractions and confusion a bit. |

This kalidescope of colors and objects is a challenge for the eyes. I do like the imagery and the story-telling. I think Joe's crop helps the image. |

I like the mountain-meadow scene. A little tighter crop might improve the impact. Also, the sky is great. Perhaps a little "targeted adjustment brush" treatment with de-haze to add to the drama. The fog adds some mystery. The action at the tops of the trees mentioned by Joe is a little distracting. |

I really like the composition and the mystery of the fog. The sky looks weird and over-processed. Not sure it is fixable, but still a very nice shot. |

An interesting shot from a unique and creative position. I like Joe's modified version because it eliminates most distractions. |

As Gary explained, the key to shooting hummingbirds is planning the shot. You need lots of light, preferably flash, and a camera on a tripod. Also, it is always preferable to not have a feeder in the picture. I like your enthusiasm for the subject. If you have an opportunity, try to take a workshop with some professional bird photographers. It is worth-while investment. |

The white background overpowers the whale. A tighter crop would improve that a lot. I took a trip to Baja, California with Lindblad (National Geographic) and saw many California grey whales up close and personal. I can relate to the thrill you experienced on this trip. |

A nice macro shot. Perhaps a little lower camera angle would have captured more clearly the center of the flower. |

This is an excellent capture of the Kite in flight. The noise issue mentioned previously is quite distracting. There are several brushes in Camera Raw but the most appropriate is "selective adjustment brush." In that mode you can paint the area of interest and then use any of then many options available, including noise reduction. Another option is Topaz De-noise AI. |
