Sheldon, I tried your suggestion and brought out the shadow areas with good results (image attached.) I guess Joe prefers the shadows. |

I think the re-worked image is perfect. Even though you did not like the early hour, your timing of the sunrise and clouds just right. This would look very good printed and metal and hanging on a wall to show your friends. |

As others have noted, a very good composition and the low angle eliminates any background issues. Sheldon's re-work was right on and eliminated most of the "over-processed" look. |

A stunning art piece and a huge challenge to photograph in a confined space with fixed lighting. I think you did well under the circumstances. |

A fine composition with excellent monochrome processing which is a perfect choice for this image. To me, the skin texture is a little distracting and some smoothing might help the overall imapact. |

I like this image especially in the monochrome format you chose. It has a sense of restfulness and is pleasing to view. I agree with others that the white objects are a little distracting and perhaps a little cropping from the right and top would be useful. |
