A very nice portrait of the tiger. The eye and whisker detail is really sharp. I believe your shutter speed was certainly adequate for the conditions. My only critique is the partial left eye and the distraction of the bright water. Congratulations on your inclusion in member's showcase. |

A reasonable documentary shot. The extreme contrast and lack of detail are somewhat detracting. |

Very good results for your maiden voyage of photographing "people." You worked hard for this one and the low angle makes it interesting. I think the bisected eye is the only real distraction. |

A really well-done image Dick. The foreground and sky are particularly dramatic in monochrome. I was at this location in May 2016 but did not see that wonderful tree to use as a foreground. |

A great catch Joe. I love raptor shots and this is a beauty with the focus on the eye tack sharp. I agree with Dolores that the sharpening looks a little overdone and grainy. |

I like the composition. The leading lines of the track and smoke impart a sense of motion. The lone conductor and absence of passengers tells a great story of days gone by. I noticed you were at 1/50 sec. Was that with a tripod? The image in back of the train front is a little soft. |
