Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
22 Jun 17 Reply Marti, I will have to try this again from start some another time. Thanks for the steps on how to add the box. I made an error and flattened the image, so I lost the layers.. learned for next time. Jun 25th
22 Jun 17 Comment Mike, if you will like to try OOB technique in the future, I think the image with subject moving towards the side or under 45degree towards you may be best choice for 3D effect. Subject moving directly towards you may not 'spill of of frame' as dramatically. I guess it has something to do with lighting and shading..

22 Jun 17 Comment Joe, I agree with Marti about the arm. The revision is better. I think you fulfilled the technique assignment well. Jun 25th
22 Jun 17 Comment John, great job on a difficult assignment! I agree with above comments about ground and car floating. I am not sure what could be done about the floating part. Yes, like you I reworked my images several times, I still have a lot too learn about this technique. Jun 25th
22 Jun 17 Comment Jerry, Nice work! Maybe I would extend green backround above the rider's head just to give 'more room' to jump . Jun 25th
22 Jun 17 Comment Very nice technique OOB image. The flowers spills out, great 3D effect. Just a small suggestion, I think the out of frame flower should be sharper and brighter.
The flower which spilled out of frame draws my attention but because yellow petals are darker then on flower within the frame, the flower inside the frame remains to be the main subject of your image.
Overall nice job on very difficult project!

22 Jun 17 Comment Marti, thank you for tutorials for this project. It was a great help to get me started.
I agree with comments above. The white frame seemed too dominant and too 'square'. Thinner angled frame may have more 3D result. You did a good job removing the rail, but there is still some rail remains around horse's hoof which were missed. I agree that different then black background would work better with the image. It would help 'bring' the horses out of the frame .
Overall I think you have done a nice job. This was very difficult assignment.
