Thanks Sharon. I probably used LR's masking which is very useful. Good comments from everyone. |

Nice metallic look and feel to the image. I agree with the cropping suggestions and don't have anything more to add. Always out of the box attention to details I would probably miss. |

I agree with both lightening the subject and taking down the highlights on the wood. Very nice shot. These guys are a tough subject. Great job. |

I would get on a plane for a chance to get this image. Love it. No suggestions. |

You nailed the subject which I find difficult to get completely in focus. I'm not bothered by the sky and wouldn't change a thing. |

I agree with everyone's comment and like the image a lot. I wouldn't enhance also crop the sky and would take out the rim as well. Just go with the patterns. It would be interesting to see how it looked if you brightened the whites and darkened the oranges. It might give it even more depth. |

Strong image. I'm guessing the wave was breaking behind the clear water. If permitted, I would add a Gaussian blur and darken the foreground. ALS, the light is coming from the right and behind the rocks. Instead of lightening the entire rocks, I would just dodge the areas the light might have hit. Also, you may be able to pull more color from the sky. I wouldn't enhance the yellow area on the right, but in the other areas possibly selectively pushing vibrancy and saturation might work. |
