Very artistic. I agree with what the others have already said. I might look at it with the brightness of the grout between the stones a bit darker. Not sure which I would like better. I definitely like the red the best. |

Wonderful shot and I like your interpretation in post. I might look at it as a 5x4 instead of what looks like a 3x2 crop. I think I'd also rotate the "horizon" a very slight bit counter clockwise. I often flip and image horizontally to help me see if it looks level. Sometimes it's more noticeable when flipped. If this were mine, I might look at it leaving in more of the reeds above the bird but agree with removing the ones suggested by the others. |

Great shot and I wouldn't change a thing. The Serengeti is wonderful. What month were you there? Thanks |

Wonderful image. I like both your crop and the original but agree with Ally regarding the original. To my taste I think there are a few areas around the center of the water that are too sharp and have taken some of the charm from the effect of your shutter speed. They also, to me, don't blend well with the areas adjacent to them. Nice one! |

Beautiful image. I'd suggest darkening the background to increase the already good separation between the heron and the background. I might also reduce the luminance of the brighter green area behind the bush as it's the brightest part of the picture.
We have the Great Blues nesting here in S Florida and were lucky to have the opportunity to watch the nesting and hopefully hatching. |

Thanks Ally. Yes, it's that bright which I consider a negative in that I need to underexpose a bit to avoid blowing out the red channel. |
