52 Oct 23 Comment Nice one. I agree with the comments already made. I think you could give the image a bit more punch. Possibly selectively adding some clarity or very slight dehaze would be worth looking at. A also see small bit Ann mentioned in the tail feathers which would be an easy fix. Oct 7th
52 Oct 23 Comment I like this one a lot, and particularly liked the little guy in the back until I read your description. My attention was brought right to him. I do think the image is a little hot and I'd reduce the highlights a bit and possibly add a vignette. Oct 7th
52 Oct 23 Comment It's a wonderful composition but the image has the look to me of one that had a lot of noise which, when processed, gave an unnatural look, as noted by Pamela. If that is the case, I might leave the noise on the branch and bird and remove it just from the sky. Oct 7th
52 Oct 23 Comment Nice image. I'm probably an outlier but I'd take the bird out. Not that it doesn't add something, but I think it vies for attention with the wonderful expression and body position of the hippo. I love the hippo's smile and how it's legs are tucked under. Purely a subjective call as the image is just fine as it is. Oct 7th
