I admire your imagination and artistry to show us what we might never have seen. Bravo! I see little animals in their eggs ready to hatch, or seed pods ready to do the same. I like the dark line running though the subject. A bit more stem might help as it does look tight to me at the bottom. The one suggestion I would consider is the tonality of the background that shows through between the stems. I suggest darkening those areas a bit as to my eye they were distracting and didn't seem to fit.

Frank is one handsome fella. Beautifully focused and great eye contact, as the others have said. It might be just a tad underexposed or you might want to dodge just a bit of light in the face of the bird to taste. As is, though, it's fine. I might also crop in a bit tighter on the top, just a bit. |

I share Pamela's thoughts on this one. One thing that may be fun to try is to abstract. Maybe leave the center flower sharp and swirl or blur everything around it. I've done that in camera but know that it could be done in Photoshop and a Google search or Youtube would probably show how. |

I find turkeys very difficult subjects. They are intelligent and extremely wary so nice job capturing one. I thought the composition could be improved in a few regards. Particularly when I looked at the image after downloading it, the vignette looked too strong to my eye. I was also bothered by the head of the turkey leading me out of frame. I played with it and made a more extreme crop, probably too extreme but thought it would illustrate my thoughts. I tried to make the head of the turkey the center of attention. On my screen, there was a purplish cast to image which I couldn't totally correct but did adjust a bit. Finally, I added some texture to the bird and softened up the background to provide a bit of separation. |

Lovely image Pamela. The rich colors compliment each other beautifully and the flower is well positioned in the composition. I think it's perfect as is. |

I think this is absolutely beautiful. Your post processing is right on. It brings out the lovely tonality of the scene and separates the subject from the background beautifully. Not a thing I would change. |
