I'm going with our interpretation 100%. I love your processing and the vision it took to see and create this image. Wonderful job. I can't think of a single thing to add to a wonderful image. |

The carcass seems amazingly intact given the exposed skeleton. It looks like it had been there awhile. I might suggest removing the highlights, which look more natural in the original to me. Possibly raise up the shadows a bit to make them a bit less dense. |

This would look beautiful over a sofa. I like it just as is but might play a bit with the punchiness factor to make it a bit more dynamic. It might take away from the calm and peace mentioned by Lisa, but, as always, could be an alternate interpretation worth looking at.
I made it less of a panoramic image and added some masks in LR to bring more color to the sky. |

Your image brings back memories of my first Milky Way photography. So exciting. In answer to your question, I think your foreground could be raised even a bit further. What I've learned in night photography is that it's often a good idea to take a long exposure for the foreground, at a lower ISO and then combine it with an image of the sky. As long as the tripod isn't moved, it should combine well. I might suggest dodging a bit of light on the river water. Being a non-purist, I would remove the glow of light river over the river, to the right of the trees, and also on the right side. I think their is a little lens distortion as the horizon looks curved to me. Lightroom should be able to fix that. Processing the sky portion is very subjective and I like how you've handled it. Great job. |

I decided to play with your processed image. I might have done better with the original but didn't think of it until after I was finished. I wanted to see how it looked taking the yellow out of the water, which didn't look natural to me. I did a lot of dodging and burning and painted in some clarity to the water. I added a bit of haze the the background by going negative with the dehaze slider in LR. The rock in the lower right is controversial in my own mine. I agree with Lisa but also felt it may distract from the wonderful falls. So, merely as an alternative to consider, I darkened it a bit. A great image to play with. |

I love it. You have eye contact on both subjects and both are in focus. Lovely background and I even like the curve of the stick. I did feel that it was a little tight on the right side and looked at the original to see if you had more room. I noticed you mistakenly posted a different image as the original but I suspect that there is some room you could add on that side, and maybe take off just a bit on the left side without cutting off the branch that is sticking up. |
