Thanks Judith. We have some wetland areas near me where the birds are acclimated to people and it's possible to get very close without disturbing them. Birds that wouldn't tolerate any presence anywhere else. |

Nice job and story. I like the complexity of the flower and the glow around it. Very artistic. |

I like the image but think I would crop both the left side and bottom. |

Great job Lisa. You cut out the flower perfectly and the colors of the flower and background look beautiful together. I might dodge the center of the flower that is in shade just a touch. I thought about whether I would remove the black reflections in some of the wonderful water drops, or maybe change them from black to a nice complementary color. They do pull my eye a bit and are probably a left over from the original setting. Not sure if it would be a good idea to include the stem for the flower or leave it floating. You probably thought about that but I might want to see it both ways before deciding. Great job.
Question, did you add the water and did you use glycerin? I recently bought some vegetable glycerin, not knowing what I am doing, incase I come across a nice flower like this or spider web. |

I'm torn on this one. I like the color flower more than the processed one, but like the background in the processed image better. I like the look but it is too muted for my taste, which favors more vibrancy. I'd probably like the color flower against a textured background. The image itself looks technically perfect and I like your tilting of the flower and composition in general. |

I think this image is terrific. Like Lisa, I think the colors and composition are perfect. Getting the bee in focus is also impressive. I'm not bothered by the face of the butterfly. I might try to dodge or brighten the far antenna as its shaft gets lost in the black. (Only a nitpik) I think I would also dodge the yellow on the bee's body a slight amount. It's in shade so I wouldn't go too far. I think it was wise to remove the second bee which would have been a distraction. |

I didn't notice that white spot but now that you pointed it out I can't help but see it. I appreciate it. |
