I don't like that either but it's the nature of a blur and thought I'd only make it worse by attempting to remove it. Blurs almost aways have stuff I don't like. |

Thanks Lisa. To the best of my memory it had just landed and was flapping its wings for balance. |

I like the center placement of the pod and like the simple beauty of the image. Peaceful and nice. I'm undecided if I like the white vignette or if I like the tight side cropping. I might either go in further, or back out and take the time to remove the dark areas from what's behind it. All that said, I think it's creative and very pleasing to look at. |

I like it Tom. The golden tones are, well, golden and wonderful. Although it's difficult to tell, to my eye the horizon is just a bit off, as the foreground water seems to be tilted down a bit. That's one that's in the eye of the beholder for sure. I might dodge a bit in the areas where the water meets the otter as long as the noise remains under control. I think I might experiment also with some alternative crops. Maybe taking something off the left side and bottom. |

John, I agree with you completely. I think it holds up well to the crop. I also like the ripples on the water. I usually like the water to either be flat, or have uniform ripples that reflect color, like this does. |

Orange is my favorite color and I love the orange and green together. I think you cropped it nicely and It looks like your de-noise did a nice job of blurring the background. I don't have any suggestions and like it just as it is. |

This really tells the story of a cold winter day. I hope you didn't have to get into the water to get this vantage point but if so, I like it. I'm not a purist and don't mind taking things out of images. I would remove the stick poking into the scene on the left side, near the log in the water. I might also try painting in some clarity or texture to the water to try to emphasize it's flow and to draw the viewer to the water and down the stream. Nice job. |

I love the bird's pose and placement in the image. I think the image is perfect as is. The only thing that first caught my eye is the greyniss on the feathers and a bit of yellow tint on the bird. I boosted up the yellows to see and confirmed that it was there. Here's a version where I painted in some exposure, reduced shadows and desaturated yellow. |
