That's a cool idea. Creative. I appreciate negative critique which I find the most valuable. I'm not sure myself about this image. It helps to get others honest impressions. Thanks |

Nice one! I agree with the other comments. The image looks a bit underexposed to me and the Snowy has, on my screen, a blue color cast. I think I would check the whites to see if there is a cast and follow Lisa and Sharon's suggestions. |

I like it. The bug looks so at piece, almost smiling. The cracked surface provides the perfect background. If this were mine, I would rotate it so the head was pointing diagonally up. I would also remove the leaves which, to my eye, get in the way. |

I'm with Lisa and like the close crop a lot. Congrats on a fine image. My style would remove the small twigs. |

Hi Lisa. I agree with fixing the wings. I'm a bit distracted by the crop of the vertical stem the butterfly is on and agree with John about the negative space. I know it's kooky, but I like it as a horizontal by rotating 90 degrees. |

Congrats Sharon on the honors and this image. My only suggestion is right along the horizon. It may be chromatic aberration or a result of the HDR process, or just natural. Easy to check if it appears on the neutral capture. If not, you. Ishtar add that to the layer stack and just blend in along the horizon.
Bravo and thanks for your work for us. |
